I Don't Care Too Much for Money...Cuz' Money Can't Buy Me Love!!!!

WELL.... that is not necessarily true. Money in a way does buy you love...or at least may keep you happy.  It is important that couples have the same value system when it comes to finances and children.

Finances and/or Money is one of the main reasons that marriages fall apart.

Couples claim that the leading causes of Divorce are:

  1. Money
  2. Infidelity
  3. Children Issues
  4. Major life changes

Although marriages end for many reasons, we can help you navigate the waters of a Divorce or Dissolution, a place that you never anticipated.

Exemptions for Bankruptcy: What property can I keep?

"I just can't take it anymore. I want to file bankruptcy but I don't want to lose my house, car, retirement funds, all my personal stuff."

If the above words sound farmiliar... then listen up. The following list, although not a complete list of exemptions, are some of the personal assets, as of April 1, 2010, that Ohio law would allow you to keep. Every 3 years after that, the numbers below are required to be adjusted to reflect the change in the consumer price index. The law on the amount of exemptions changes often and the amount may depend on several factors so we can go over this when you meet with us.
